The deal
By using swnwsignals.com, you’re agreeing to what’s below. If that’s not something you’re up for, this isn’t the site for you.
What this site is
This is the marketing site and storefront for SWNW Signals LLC. The journal pages, portfolio content, and the Haystack Rock page are for general information — nothing there is a quote, a contract, or a guarantee of results. The Menu is different: adding something to your Net and completing checkout is a real order at the price shown at that moment, governed by the rest of this page.
Ordering & payment
Prices on the Menu are in U.S. dollars and can change at any time — the price you actually pay is whatever’s shown when you complete checkout, not any earlier or later price. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never handle or store your card number. Placing an order is your agreement to pay for what’s in your Net at checkout.
Scope, delivery & cancellation
Each Menu item is scoped to what its own description says — page counts, revision rounds, and turnaround are part of that item’s listing, not a separate contract. For Single-Page and Full Site builds, our guarantee (stated on the Menu) applies: we build your homepage draft first, scoped to the homepage only, and you only pay to keep it — walk away before that and there’s no invoice. Once you’ve accepted a build and paid, the engagement is complete for that item; further changes are a new request, either through the Dev Retainer or a new one-off order. Larger, custom-scoped work (a Custom App, for instance) is governed by a separate written agreement once scoped — the Menu listing for that item is a starting price, not the final contract.
The Dev Retainer
The Dev Retainer is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe. There’s no long-term contract — cancel anytime through the link in your receipt or by emailing us, effective at the end of your current billing period. It covers hosting, security updates, and small fixes or edits, one request at a time; it doesn’t cover new builds or larger project work, which are billed separately.
Ownership of what we build you
Once a build is paid for in full, the delivered code is yours to keep, host anywhere, and modify — that’s the point of “you own the code.” Until payment is complete, the work remains ours. This site’s own design, copy, and original graphics belong to SWNW Signals LLC unless we say otherwise; feel free to link to us, but don’t rip off our logo or site and call it yours.
Not professional advice
Content on this site, including background information on our Haystack Rock page, is provided as-is for general interest. We source what we publish, but none of it is professional, legal, or safety advice for visiting anywhere we write about. Check current, official sources before you rely on anything time-sensitive.
Links to other sites
We link out to government agencies, nonprofits, local businesses, and other third parties. We don’t control those sites, don’t vouch for everything on them, and aren’t responsible for their content or uptime.
No warranties
This site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don’t promise it’s error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly current at every moment. Where a specific Menu item states its own warranty — The Helm’s 12-month bug warranty, for instance — that warranty applies as written for that item and doesn’t extend to anything else we’ve built you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows it, SWNW Signals LLC isn’t liable for damages arising from your use of this site or anything it links to.
Changes
We can update these terms as the site changes. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
